Income inequalities in later life

Gender inequality in the workplace results in gender inequality in retirement.

In early 2004 Security4Women (S4W) identified superannuation as a significant issue for women. Then S4W organised a series of activities and consultations to determine what the issues were and how they might be tackled

S4W then conducted a national survey to seek the views and experiences of Australian women in relation to their knowledge, understanding and management of their own superannuation. To view the report click here

In 2015 we revisit income inequalities that impact both on economic security in later working life and after retirement – Transitioning to retirement, as a self-funded retiree, Age Pensioner, self-employed.
