The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) hosted 32 Census Data Seminars across 26 locations in Australia. The free information sessions revealed what the 2016 Census of Population and Housing tells us about ourselves, our communities and Australia.
Gender Statistics and Analysis
The latest Gender Indicators Australia was released on 19th September, by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. It is a resource for social analysis and research in gender equality. The publication currently contains 55 key indicators and a further 95 related or detailed data series.

The standard explains the interrelated concepts of sex and gender, defines standard classification categories for each concept and includes question modules for the collection of sex and gender information.
