eS4W was pleased to host the Pay Equity Forum in Melbourne earlier in September and delighted to focus on this issue in the small to medium enterprise sector. This is an area in which we have been working since 2010.
It is this mix of expertise, knowledge and experience that has been recorded in the attached report and has been captured in a plan of action: to support SMEs to achieve pay equity and to harness the full potential of their workforce.
This plan outlines approaches to and resources required by the SME sector to address pay equity issues. The aim of the plan is to develop, publish and promote resources to the small to medium size enterprise sector to improve pay equity outcomes between women and men.
It is our intention to revisit the outcomes of the forum and progress on the plan at another Pay Equity forum in 12 months.
