Current Projects » Education and Training of Girls and Women

It is vital to build the economic security of Australian women and girls by ensuring their access to funded relevant training that enhances career pathways and equitable employment outcomes through their participation in VET. This includes women’s participation across all programs including traineeships, apprenticeships, and employment creation programs.  eS4W want to promote girls and women’s learning needs as central to all VET strategies and policies (including special political/economic initiatives) by implementing a gender inclusive VET strategic framework based on gender analyses that includes processes for improving the access to information and relevant learning, training and career pathways. To utilise evaluation data from the proposed pilot project to inform policies and planning at appropriate levels in order that career pathways for girls and women are enhanced.  Click here for the report on Girls into Trades 11 December
