High Level Political Forum – HLPF

The HLPF is the main United Nations platform on sustainable development and it has a central role in the follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at global level. The Forum meets annually under the auspices of ECOSOC for eight days,  including a three-day ministerial segment and every four years at the level of Heads of State and Government under the auspices of the General Assembly (GA) for two days where it adopts intergovernmental negotiated political declarations.

The OECD works with governments to understand what drives economic, social and environmental change, measuring productivity and global flows of trade and investment, analysing and comparing data to predict future trends and sets international standards on a wide range of things, from agriculture and tax to the safety of chemicals.

Group of Twenty – G20
